Thailand will be the primary filming location for season 3 of HBO’s Emmy-winning anthology series, The White Lotus, set to premiere in 2025. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has confirmed that Bangkok, Phuket, and Ko Samui will be the main locations for filming, showcasing the culture and beauty of Thailand. TAT Governor, Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, expressed honor in featuring Thailand as the filming location for the highly anticipated upcoming season, which will also feature two Thai actors, Dom Hetrakul and Tayme Thapthimthong.
TAT has partnered with HBO to film and promote The White Lotus season 3 in Thailand. Janet Graham Borba, Executive Vice President of Production for HBO & Max, expressed pleasure in showcasing all that Thailand has to offer as the next group of guests check in to the White Lotus. Created by Mike White, The White Lotus debuted in 2021, set in Hawaii, and has received numerous Emmy nominations and awards. Season 3, set in Thailand, is scheduled to premiere on HBO following the success of the first two seasons set in Hawaii and Sicily. The 75th Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony is anticipated to celebrate the series’ success.
