China Eastern Airlines and EFIS Maroc will inaugurate three weekly flights from Casablanca to Shanghai via Marseille, beginning January 19, 2025. The service, operating on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, will utilize Boeing 787-900 aircraft, accommodating 18 tonnes of cargo.

This initiative will enhance logistics for Morocco-China trade, especially in the automotive sector. By ensuring timely transport of high-value components, the new route aims to bolster supply chains and stimulate economic growth between Africa and Asia.
